First of all, what is the exact size of the holes in the body for placing plastic rivets to hold on the interior panels?

Second, what is a good replacement you use instead of the original plastic pop rivets which are way to expensive. There is an old post about this but maybe there is new info to share.

Define way too expensive. I think they are about 70 cents each through Courtesy and other places.

I got some replacement plastic rivets at my local paint supply store. They were far less expensive and have the advantage of using a plastic screw in the center instead of a pin that gets pushed through and lost.

My local autoparts store (Murray's) has plastic rivets of different kinds, and some had screw centres.

If you think they re expensive, buy them in quantities through eBay.

The pin in the center of the rivet is 1/8 inch (3.2 mm)
