Is it possible to make a supercharged (vortech style) L24 in its carbureated form? any input is appreciated! Would it even be worth the effort?

Never come across a supercharged version, even the turbo versions floating around are non SU.

SU's for some reason don't take to super/turbo charging. Surf over to hybridZ for for info...

Sure, why not! Your talkin some involved fabrication here! Also, Jim Cook Racing used to sell a rotory vane style supercharger set up....sold for around 3500.00 and that was years ago. Also also, I believe one of the Z guys, either here or on Hybridz, is selling his setup (Jim Cook unit). Hes doing the V8 conversion now. Hes also the president of a Z car club back east. Nice looking early Z, white in color and 17" wheels all the way around. Sorry his name isn't coming to mind.

cool thanks for all your input. how about if I were to use the arizona z car holley carb conversion...i can weld (shaky skillz tho), and can work a lathe, so some fabrication wouldn't be much of a problem. but would the holley setup "in theory" work?
