Hi everyone. I'm moving to San Diego,California in June with my twins girls(7) and my 83 280zx and my 74 260z and was wondering who lives in the area and what in there to do with your Z and clubs or anything?????????????

We have quite a few members in the San Diego area and is SoCal in general. As far as activities that are Datsun/Z oriented, we have the Japanese Classic Car Show in Long Beach (Sept. 30), the UFO Swap Meet at Nissan Headquarters in Gardena every couple of months, the Mossy Nissan Show in Oceanside, UFO/Group Z BBQ at Dana Point, just to name a few. You'll love it out here. No putting the car away for the winter although it did snow for a half hour or so here in San Bernardino last Saturday but I live at roughly 2000ft.

Not to mention that you'll be giving up the snow and all that fun!

Good Luck on the move, I'd mention that you should drive by our neck of the woods, but Portland OREGON /Vancouver WASHINGTON aren't necessarily on the way.

I talked to my mom. She is flying out to Minnesota and she will drive my van w/ kids and I will drive a UHaul we will both have a rented trailer.

Just make sure the first thing you unpack is your computer and have your internet connection organised so you can let us know how the trip went.

You might even bump into the venerable Carl, the killer of Bambies. He's from that area isn't he ????

Rick, California is a rather large state, especially north to south. Deedee will be about 500 miles south of where Carl lives and about 100 miles south of me.

I have internet on my cell phone-organizer so I plan on keeping you guys on the way.I even just uploaded picts, I took with my cell phone of the new 260z I just bought, still in storage though.
