Posted March 3, 200619 yr comment_158035 As I am in the throws of rebuilding my car, what are your thougths about fitting a rollover cage behind the seats.Has anyone done this?I'm thinking that I may want to remove it when I'm not on the track, so idea about quick removal would be good.I don't want a full cage as I will only be taking it out in speed and trial events. No car to car racing as I am paranoid about smashing it to bits.Maybe a rollover hoop that has braces back to the rear strut towers? March 3, 200619 yr comment_158038 I'm thinking that I may want to remove it when I'm not on the track, so idea about quick removal would be good.I suggest you have a permanent roll bar installed, not a removable roll cage. A roll bar has a main hoop behind the seats with two rear braces going to the strut towers and a diagonal brace within the main hoop. March 3, 200619 yr comment_158040 With the roll bar behind the seats, you'll have no problems gettin ing & out, as opposed to a 6-point rollbar. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19093-rollover-cage/#findComment-158040 Share on other sites
March 3, 200619 yr comment_158045 Check 260DET's gallery. I like his. Doesn't block rear vision. Cops like ticketing cars for obstructed vision over here. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/19093-rollover-cage/#findComment-158045 Share on other sites
