Is it interchangable with a 260 hub?

I'm beefing up the front stut with 260 struts and need to know as I have a terra trip probe mounted on the fount strut.

The probe has 2 bolts secured onto the hub which acts as a trigger and rather than modify the 260 hub, I would rather swap them over.

Can I use the 240 hub on the 260 strut?

A terra trip is a rally trip or distance meter.

Has anyone got access to part nums? If so are they the same?

The 240 and 280 hubs are different in the US. They have a 10mm different offset for the rotor. If you're talking about the 77, I think you would have the same hubs as the 280Z has in the US.

Thanks, I'm thinking that I might just rebuild the 240 strut and save myself some grief.

Ah, another idea. If there is a 10mm offset then could I compensate by using the corresponding caliper?

OK, for future reference.

The hubs are different.

240 is 17mm thick rotor is 40mm

260 is 24mm thick rotor is 33mm

Both have the same overall measurements and a 240 hub complete with disc rotor fits on a 260 strut.

I just put new discs on my 240z, I went for 260z hubs and disc as I had a pair of 260 hubs and the new 240 discs were $140ea compare to $75ea for 260z.
