There is only one picture posted so who knows what the details look like but for $1500 I'd say it could be a steal.....

If it runs, it's probably already sold. I just called, no answer. Simi Valley is just a freeway trip from here.

I was in touch with the owner more than a month ago and nearly flew down to see the car. He was getting a lot of inquiries and I'm sure it is now sold. The owner felt the car probably needed a head gasket and there were a few other problems. Ultimately I didn't go down because the rocker panels looked iffy. (See photo.) There was also front-fender rust and some body damage on the passenger-side front fender. But it was still probably a good deal for somebody. Owner seemed like a good guy. Policeman.

Hey Steve,

$1500. He's practically giving it away mate.

How many blokes on this site paid more for their Zed prior to restoration/refreshing?????

If he's a cop, you'd EXPECT him to be honest, ........... wouldn't you ???????

ROFL ROFL

This might complete the circle for you - seems the car in question has been posted on cardomain with a new owner...

That was a quick find GW! Seems a shame if the car is in decent "rustless" shape, that he will V-8 it. No offense to the V-8 guys. Would like to know what he finds when he gets it

It may have a little rust, but looks like a great Z to start a project with. I wonder if the new owner is a member here? It would be neat to track his progress with the car.
