December 29, 200519 yr comment_150446 Hmm. Fair enough. Looking at the pics of the wheels again, they do definitely look like they have a large + offset. I'll be very interested to see how they look on the car. December 30, 200519 yr Author comment_150486 Yeah I don't know if you noticed but I took one shot of the rims where the rear rims sticks out and the front sinks in. Hmm. Fair enough. January 2, 200619 yr comment_150792 Hmm...that doesn't work very well on my computer mate. It's rather slow and the offset section is covered up. Ahh well. January 2, 200619 yr comment_150804 Those rims sure look like SSR Watanabes to me. 7240Z - can you look at the round mark on the face of the rim? If it looks like 3 Ws stacked in a triangle in side a circle, that ''s what they are. Got 'em on my car, but hard to see because the avatar is so small.BTW, you should mention the import fees and taxes on autos in the Philippines. I've heard many a horror story that the import fees and taxes cost more than what the car is worth - and people leave them on the docks rather than pay. January 2, 200619 yr comment_150806 Hey Murphy, Have you been to this site? http://www.rims-n-tires.com/info_specs.jspThanks! Hope this will answer your questions Well that site will show you what tyres fit on what wheels. But the problem Murph is talking about is the +38mm offset making the wheel/tyre hit the strut. I had a 14 X 7 mag with 0 offset and 235 tyres and they barely cleared the strut at the rear. In fact theres a slightly polished part on the lower spring perch from the tyres rubbing during cornering. January 2, 200619 yr Author comment_150810 Yeah the website collects a lot of data but the offset selection is covered in half but if you click on it the offset numbers will appear.Work is still being done to the car so as soon as I can fit the wheels, I'll post some up! January 2, 200619 yr comment_150817 I almost bought these wheels in those exact dimensions here in Australia, the set I found was originally off a 180sx I think and the owner wanted AUD$600 for them. I was sure they would need spacers at that offset!?? 7240z, if you get them on they will look real nice. I can't remember if they were 2 peice or 3 peice wheels!?Do you know 7240z? January 2, 200619 yr Author comment_150827 3 piece toecutter! Why didn't you get them? I was really happy to get these rims cause I haven't seen them on any Z yet. BTW, what are the dimensions of your mags? They look really good! January 2, 200619 yr comment_150862 The wheels I've got now are 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 at rear. As far as the RS-8's go that you have I almost bought them but I was umming and arring over wether I wanted 16" or 17" wheels, however the deciding factor for me was the need for spacers. If you do have any issues with offset I suppose you could always get new inner and outer peices rolled for them seeing they are 3 peice and get exactly the offset you would like but from my research that would cost about AUD$300 per wheel here in Australia, thats about USD$220. It's quite a bit of money but I suppose if you get them done in the same dimensions as the watanabes guys use for their ZG set up you'd still be doing quite well in terms of cost and it would look awesome.
