I have posted (in my gallery) some pictures of my 280 z I am about to start ripping into. I was wondering if any of you body guy could give me an opinion on weather I sould replace the front fenders or have the lower part replaced. I know there is no way to tell for sure from a picture .. just your best take on it.

The pictures will be up as soon as they pass the guard .. haha

Yours appear to be worse than mine. The rust holes in mine are larger but are just one localized hole per side, not spread out as yours are. I will probably just do the patch panel on mine, but I might replace them if they looked like yours.

Just my opinion, of course.

You won't know for sure until you have the fenders off, but it looks like a patch panel is all they need.

They have the typical rot, you won't know for certain until they are off the car how bad they really are but I would vote for fixing before replacing
