yay! my new 280z!

Featured Replies

Well i picked up my 1976 280z today. It was a former california car, but somehow ended up in massachusetts! After a short tow home i started to clean out the interior and find out what needs to be done and all that good stuff! Heres the list : paint, POR-15, Minor quarter pan and floor pan patches, door swap from my other parts car, weather stripping from my parts car, Some assembly of the front end, new gas, brakes need to be bled, clutch needs to be blead and thats it! Once i accomplish all these i will have a very sturdy, safe Z. Not to mention i got it running today.. Heh this damn thing souds like a ferarri! LOL Im SO excited and ill be posting pics ASAP!Ohh and it came with brand spankin new OEM fenders. The car and everything cost me $600, id have to say thats a deal of a life time...

I just hope that those early doors will fit. I don't know much about 75-76 cars but I do know that the 77-78 doors are different from the 70-74 doors. Being a Cali car does it have a catalytic converter?
