Where is the rubber cushion located under the inspection lid? I have never seen a picture of one. Thanks Keith

Pg. 178 of the Wick Humble 'bible' shows him gluing the rubber bumper on the fender channel. The parts CD or microfiche book also has the p/n for this piece.

If you go to page 220 of that book the "rubber cushions" are Item 7. There is one on each side and they are on the top of the lid channel and the same length as the metal tab that is bent up.

Those are the 3 rubber bumpers that are on each side. Lift the lid and in the channel you will see the rubber cushions ( one on each side) as I described in the above post......

There are bumpers and cushions. The cushionss go on the lid, the bumpers go in the channel of the opening that the lids fill when closed. Both appear on eBay fairly frequently.
