Queensland Z Car Cruise

Featured Replies

The Queensland Z Car Club is running it's annual "Luv a Coffee" run this Sunday April 17. Start is at the Roma Street Parklands (UBD Map 159 Ref K3)at 7am. The cruise will wind it's way around a mystery course (to be announced on the day) and will end up at Luv-a-Coffee in Springwood for much needed caffeine and breakfast. :D

I encourage those who can to come - last year we had 40 or so cars attend. If your Z / K (whatever!!!) is not on the road you can always attend in your "other" car - just be prepared to explain why you're driving the inferior one!! I am coming up from the Gold Coast, so I don't want to hear excuses from people coming from the South!

If interested parties could post that would be appreciated.

Oh man i am SO interested. But i won't be in town this weekend :(

Once i have my zed on the road i'll try to bring it down to show ya'll. Do you have like an annual meeting?

Sweet as. I'll come to one once my zed is on the road, prob in about 3 or 4 months? It'll be sweet as, but i dunno if it will be much liked because it'll be pretty modernised. But oh well, i hope it will create some interest in the car from younger guys and gals.

Hmm....If I leave now, and drive at an average of 230kph...

Unfortunatly the ol girl wouldn't even get in the ball park. :D

I think you'll find even some of the old blokes have some "modernised" cars.

Depends if it's tasteful or not though... You may even find someone who has done what you plan to do already. There's a fair wealth of knowledge there.. :)

Yeh, there are some modernised Zeds belonging to club members and some belong to old blokes :) EFI, twin cams and turbos rule

Good run today, would have liked to have a better look at the Skyline but it didn't turn up at Luv a Coffee. Hope he didn't get lost :D
