Yes like e racer (jello) I have a 79 ZX and a series 1 71...

After looking at the photos...I had this feeling the block has been repainted. If it has been sitting after 1900 miles in storage , why would it have been repainted?

There is absolutly no doubt in my military mind that this engine has no been touched or painted since assembly in the Datsun factory. If its because of some over sprayed blue it's becasue it was done that way in the factory.
