Std electric pump as lift pump

Planning on using the standard 260z electric fuel pump in conjuction with a VL pump to feed my L28E with fuel...will the standard pump provide adequate fuel for me ?

Just wanting to make sure before I put it all in.

Also...where do most people put the surgetank...on the other side of the tank ?

The electric pump is fine to fill the surge tank.

My surge tank is where the original electric pump used to be :D

Did you replace the stadard item with a higher capacity unit ?

Yeh, with a Holley Red for relaibility, the original was ~ 25 years old. With EFI you can't risk fuel starvation IMHO.
