Ok all, what is the best way to resto the steering wheel. Mine has that normal grainy dull, dirty look to it. Is it real wood, seems like some form of composite? Thanks in advance

Wick Humble's book states that the rim is Imitation Wood Grain. To restore thoroughly clean with laquer thinner and recoat with clear laquer.

The thread linked below contains info and links that should answer this question definitively. There is a lot of misinformation out there, but when the Chief Designer for the S30 provides the answer it should be accepted as the REAL answer.
