I lament over the racing we don't get in America, but then I shouldn't bitch for as close as I am to Sebring, Daytona, Hollywood/Miami, Moroso, Gainesville, and Road Atlanta. I loved the tri-lingual reference...ouch! So true.

Considering that I live less than 4 miles from California Speedway, it is a New Years resolution of mine to attend as many events there as possible. I have attended one race there-The inaugural event in June 1997. I saw the Busch Series, the IROC, and the then-Winston Cup races that weekend. Makes no sense to live so close and not go especially since I'm basically retired now.

Stephen, I will probably be seeing a lot of you this year as Cal Speedway is the closest track to me, here in San Diego.

Looking at the schedule, I'm going to try to make the Grand American in April, and the Historic Sports Car Races in June. I don't see the JGTC listed for '05 but I'll probably shoot for some of the drag racing as well.
