Ok, I have caused a bit of confusion due to my lack of knowledge. I have heard the same part referred to as headlight buckets, fender extensions, and the sugar scoop. I now have a little more information than when I started this thread as far as naming goes.

Now back to the problem at hand... I have gotten up there with a flashlight and now see what you are all talking about. I was thinking that the nuts were welded to the part like most of the others and that the bolt must be removed from the front. I now see that the bolt is a stud which is welded to the sugar scoop and the nut is what must be removed; the opposite of what I was thinking. :stupid: Thank you all for the assistance! I will be back to working on this this evening if it doesn't rain.

Headlight bucket is the "bowl" that houses the headlight and it's adjustment mechanism.

Fender extension is sometimes called a "sugar scoop" for obvious reasons. Also sometimes called a nacelle.(not often around here, but "old school" sportcar people might say that)
