280zx rear sway bar in my 240z?

i have my wrecked 280zx and i'm going to use the sway bar. anyone done this? i don't have access to a lift to try it out, so i'm looking for any recommendations. thanks!

damn! i'm hoping to get it on a lift to check it out.... i know it might need some fabrication (if it works), i was just hoping someone had precedence....

Sorry the 280 bar is stright as it passes the diff, and it needs a bend to clear it. I found that a bar from a EARLY 260 will work , by the way the end links will work as they are all the same length. Does your 240 have the hangers on the body pan for the mounting bushings? My '73 had them so it was a simple installation. Hope this is of help . Gary

yes it does.... i knew i was going to have to bend it to get it to fit right, i just wasn't sure how much
