This is not the sort of project you are likely to find any "how-to's" to assist you in completing. While this sort of project could be considered within the capability of a mechanically experienced owner, it is not (IMO) within the capability of a mechanically inexperienced owner. What needs to happen is that the engine, boost system, the entire engine management system (computer, wiring, and sensors) needs to be transplanted and incorporated into the existing wiring of the receiving car.

SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH!

HybridZ.org is a good place to start. Zcar.com has some great info on the site. Our club has some info on a turbo swap. There is no such thing as a how-to.

As long as the lawn mower isn't scary you should be fine. Just make sure you search as much as you can. you will need a Factory service manuel for a 280ZXT. A FSM for your 78Z would also be very useful.

I would also grab one a Microfiche CD sold by our club.
