Dimensions

Featured Replies

Can someone tell me what the width of a stock 240z is? I would like to know if one will fit in my trailer. I have been searching the internet for some time, with no luck.

Thanks, Gene

My 280 IT car is approx. 56 inches measured at the center of the tires. 240 should be the same but the tire width will differ. I could measure the distance between the rail of my trailer, but it will have to wait till daylight.

Or do you want the overall width?

I am looking for overall width & outside of the tires. I only have a 70" opening with slightly (mabye 3") less for tire width, with out ramps or something.

Thanks,

Gene

thunderstreak,

I posted a file of the body dimensions for a 240 from the factory manual. Dimensions are in millimeters.

I hope this helps.

Just as a side note, my ITS 280 with 14x7 zero offset wheels and 225/60's measure about 65 1/2 inches to the outside of the tires, so you will be close. My trailer has 78 inches between the fenders(old homemade trailer) so I never had a problem there, but it was close on the inside width between the rails.
