i was at my mechanics yesterday to ask him when he was going to rebuild my 2.8 turbo motor that i am putting in my z? he then says why dont you put this in your car? sitting there is a twin turbo 300z motor with 40k. he said he got it from japan for $1400. holy cow was i tempted to take him up on his offer. i would but i just dont have the money for that kind of swap. i have to strong and stick to the plan.:finger:

Well... the complete swap could range from $5,000 to $11,000 !!

So.. maybe.. ask him what he would charge to swap it in... you might get lucky :)

I'm waiting for the day when someone out there puts the 350Z engine in a first gen Z. Some people always believe bigger is better and always means more hp, but that's not always true. Open up the straight 6 in your Z and you'll appreciate what power can be produced from that inline. Just my opinion AND experience.
