not sure if this has been pointed out here before or not. i just notieced that i've got 2 different 240Z grills. not sure which are for what year, but i suspect the top one is for the '73s because i've got 2 of them like that and i've had 2 '73s. mounting points are different

Yes, the one on the top is from a '73...I have one just like it in my garage from my '73 parts car. Does anyone know if '73 is the only year which was different?

The front grill mounting points for the S30 changed some time between the 72 and 73 models.

The 73 is more like the 260z s30 than the 240z s30 in some regards. Another difference that the 73 has in common with the 260z is the lip on top of the radiator panel that follows the contour of the bonet.

The 73 grill should fit on later model S30's (260z). Not sure about late S30 models though (280z).

Also the pictured grills ar the export market grill. The domestic market fairlady Z got the mesh grill (with the Big mesh), and the 432 got the fine mesh grill.

The 73 grille should fit the EARLY 260, but the LATE 260 and the 280z share a different grille.
