Dashbord Glare & Reflections

What kind of stuff can you do to the dash cap to reduce glare and reflections off the windsheild?

Since you can't get mouse-fur, some kind of cover, like orange shag? LOL

I might just cut up the carpet, but I'm NOT going to replace the quarter windows with those tacky diamond ones!!!
