Hello guys I've been a busy little boy getting my site up to scratch and ready for now.

We have decided to start a register for early Z's in the Victoria / Melbourne Area (That's in Australia for the Yanks).

The scheduled meet up is on the 04/04/04 next week on the Sunday probably around lunch time. I will post final details this weekend and get it sorted so you can all plan around it :).

Anyway this is to coinside with the wazcar.com registry and hence is called viczcar http://www.viczcar.com

Now I would like to clear a few things up before anyone asks first of all this is in no way to seperate us from this forum we all love this forum

 .

Second we are not trying to distance or selves from the NDSOC here simply just getting some early Z's together and getting people to know each other and share information etc..

I recently joined the NDSOC they haven't sent me any confirmation yet  but i look forward to being a part of their group.

SO if you wanna come along have some fun see some nice Z's in the area take photos , have a BBQ or whatever join up by sending me an email or joining the forum page and I will email everyone out the details and post them soon on here and on my site.

:D

Gav,

THere are a lot of S-30 owners out there in Victoria that are hankering for a S-30 register. Many S-30 owners have other interests apart from Sprints, hence target there interest towards clubs that support the style of event that they seek.

Goodluck, and feel free to add my cars to your register.

Mike of the Mire [MOM, for short]!

Thanks heaps for the input, I hadn't even thought that far ahead LOL yet. I'm just hoping to get decent numbers for the weekend and to get some nice cars also down there. I've definately seen some good cars that are likely to show up some i feel even better than my own :cheeky: .

I'm open to all suggestions as this is a project that was started by me and 2 others so far we are financing things and we were gonna be a small group but it's become alot more than that :classic: .

I'm not complaining the more the merrier just have to work out time for it working part time studying full time it might get a bit much but I like a challenge.

Are you in Melbourne? I think you are can't remember for sure though. :D

Not to worry we just want to get started really show off some pics of the day and get others interested and go from there.

for those who may not have noticed any change at the site I tried resetting the server cache but i just tried the site at Uni and it was showing the older version

so http://viczcar.com shows the latest page and when the server comes around and clears the cache should be back to normal.

:classic:

We have a similar thing going on at www.wazcars.com for all us West Aussies. (Join up if you are in the West)

Expect to get an email from sjcurtis, after all your chassis and engine number. (SJ I'll get you that info when we switch hosting accounts, so i can make an automated form to collect the register data).

Yeah i noticed you had the same thing going and we tried to keep our URL's in line so we could be the same sort of thing just in different states. I've seen your new layout very neat indeed good work.

Gav,

Good to see that you are expecting some nice cars to show up, would you like me to park my unrestored rust bucket around the corner. I would hate to scare off any prospective members....

Then again I can park next to yours so you don't feel so bad.ROFL

Now now it's not like that at all infact quite the opposite by bringing your car and seeing it's current condition with what it could/can/will be it will give you insentive or inspiration to keep at it.

Also keep in mind that these guys have been there done that so they can tell you what not to do and what to do who to see and who not to see :).

I remember when my unrestored project was sitting in a garage there would be times i'd wonder why i was bothering it would just take 1 great Z to drive by and i'd be full of ideas and motivation.

:D

PS: Mine ain't that bad ROFL .
