Glovebox Replacement

Featured Replies

I just removed my dash to get it restored and the glovebox disintergrated. Any suggestions for effective replacements?

honestly try recutting another from what is left , the paperboard material shouldn't be too hard to find i might have an intact one in my garage if you need pics, haven't heard of anyone making new ones

Would you be inclined to use your spare to make a template image that can be posted? If not, if anyone has a spare to sell or lend such that I can make a template, I'd do so and post.

Seems a no-brainer solution.

What car is that?

My 280 has a plastic one. Still in good condition after 25 years.

Zguy, thanks for that link, I will be constructing a new glovebox out of metal (aluminium or steel, haven't decided yet) as soon as I find a template or dimensions (mine is in a million bits and way beyond salvage).
