  1. Dude locally is selling front hub assembly off a 1977 280z for $200. He says that rotors, wheel bearings, etc. are in good shape. I need them to cut for my coilover conversion so I don't care about the strut itself. Is $200 a fair price? https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/d/240280z-parts/6514563435.html I saw them in the bottom left of this pic:
  2. When I bought my 240z it came with a pole of new parts. For some reason I have 6 struts tubes. I’m replacing struts and springs on my 73 240z. Im not going to track it. Street driving is all I’m going to do. Maybe put down to cars and coffee. My understanding is KYBs are better, but I only have 2. Which would be better? 2 KYBs and 2 Gabriels or 4 gabriels? If it’s 2 and two, which should go up front?
  3. Captain_Zeros posted a post in a topic in Help Me !!
Ok, I'm feeling like an idiot here, I'm replacing my front shocks and a number of suspension bushings on my '73 240z and I keep finding references to strut mount bearings that I don't seem to have. Could somebody post a picture of how everything goes together at the top of the front struts? I have a sinking suspicion that whoever did this job last just left the damn things out. Pictures would help me see either where I ought to be looking if I'm massively overlooking things, or where new ones ought to go when I put this thing together correctly. edit: photo of where I think it might supposed to be?
  4. I need strut insulators for my late year 260z. Seems the proper item is very hard to find. Curtesy Nissan has a super imposed number for the original part that references to the same part as the 240z. This is about 3/4 of an inch lower then the original.Has anybody used this lower strut insulator on their late 260z or 280z. Did it make the rear droop. Is it very noticeable. How was the ride. Thanks ZDude1967
