I'm guessing you're referring to the windsurf board in the first pic..sorry this is hanging in Geoff's garage and not mine and I'm also not aware if it is original, however, I've just got my donor Z in from California so will be in contact with Geoff quite a bit. I'll get back to you shortly.

Porsche Carrera 2 (not sure what year). Though to tell you the truth, most of the porsche seats are very much the same. 928, 911 3.3 turbo, Carrera, across a range of years. Like I said, let know how they fit.

That's the kind of news I like to hear. My shell has just arrived so I'll go take some more measurements before I buy. I'll let everyone know if they fit or not! Much appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if the seats in the picture will fit a 1971 240z. I understand that I may need to make some adjustments but am crossing my fingers that the actual seat will fit in the seat bay area. Hopefully you can read all the dimensions. Much appreciated.

Thanks guys, that gives me a pretty good indicator. Hats off to the site. This makes life so much easier. My 240z should arriving from the States in the next week. I'm mixing to breeds. Body from the US and interior from UK (no sun to destroy dash's etc). There's a company called FourWays Engineering who restore Aston Martin etc.. however, Geoff Jackson used to rally 240z's and started the business up from there. Amazing place to visit. full of the most beatiful machines in various stages of restoration. While I restored a beautiful 260z to original spec many years ago, this is going to be doing at speed with set budget. Totally bespoke. Hopefully complete around June, July. Excellent. I've been wanting to compare these seats for a awhile. I'm in the process of doing up a 1971 myself and am after similar seats. Have you done any research into other types. The Porsche seats look quite similar especially the Posche Boxster. As I'm Europe based boxsters are a little more common in the scrap yards. Any thoughts.
