Ok so I'm still looking for a E31 head:sleepy: , I posted a wanted add for one in the classified ads. But not many views. Does anybody have one for sale? It can be in pretty much any codition, fairly nice just not welded together. So if anybody can help me out that would be great.:classic: Thx Ian

yeah there definately a lot of 280Z's and 240Z,s and 260Z's from time to time. Welcome to the club!

My brothers work fine with his 260Z and their double webers.

What do you have on your car Arne?

I have had many different people tell me two different things so, I was wondering which head has better compresion? Not just compression but over all, the E31 or the N42? Personally I have a N42 and I'm looking for a E31. E31s or way rarer than the N42s so that doesnt help me. I dont know how the E31 operates because my brother and I havent put his in his block yet. I think the n42 overall is a very good head ( especially with a stage 2 camshaft). If you have had either or experience give me your opinion on what you think of a better head.:bandit:

I was talking in a chat room today and me and couple of guys started talking about asian cars. One guy asks what kind of cars we have. He said he has a 350Z, so I was thinking hey that's cool. Another sais he has a Ford pick up, and for a second i thought he was kidding but I guess to him Ford is JapeneseROFL , and it make matters worse for this guy I said I had a 1976' 280Z Datsun he sais you mean Nissan and I was like whatever you want to call it. Then he sais yeah those old Nissans are great with those stock V8s. ROFL Again I was thinking wow same guy who owns a Japenese Ford Pick up. Some people!

I had a similar problem back when I ordered a original oil cap, I won the auction right it was $2.00 I was happy and everything and then the seller (does not post shipping info during auction ever) said shipping was going to be $6.00!
