  15. Hey all, I know this is probably a dumb question but i cant remeber what causes this. I have a 71' 240z which run great except when you turn the car off it sputters and revs and doesn't fully shutoff for about 5 or so seconds. I know this is a comman occurance with cars i'm just not sure exactly what causes it. I searched the forums already and didnt find anything, if there is already a thread about this that someone knows about please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.
  16. Going to repaint it the same org. color.. didnt like it at first, have grown to like it now.
  17. My defroster bites as well. This might sound retarded but when something electrical stops working in my car i usually just give a little tap to the fuse box and whatever wasnt working usually kicks in.. Doubt that's yer problem, but give it a try. I need to take out my whole fuse box and either replace or repair it. And your car looks Very Nice BTW.. from what i can see in the pic.

i have the same exact problem as you. Probably as do others.. I'f i figure it out i'll let you know what i did.. I too am getting power to the window but stays fogged up until the inside of the car finally warms up enough..

I got a hold of the original owner and the second owner, the seats are all original no work has been done to them.. found a dash for 50 buck last week will be putting that in as soon as i find some replacement gauges.. Put an MP3 CD player in it the other day very nice.. well thanks for the comments. .
  22. Sounds like you have the exact same car as me.. only had mine a week, but it also takes about ten minutes no matter what before i can turn the choke of.. which isnt to bad (until i forget about it being on), will probably have to change spark plugs more often, but would like to fix it. Could you send me a message if you get yer problem fixed? i'll do the same if i get mine fixed. Was thinking of adjusting the carbs, but i realized i didnt know jack about them, will soon enough... I love the car, i wish i would've bought one sooner.. http://www.240z.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=2683#post2683 pics of car.
  23. Hello all.. Just wanted to share some pics of my Z i just bought. I'm the third owner, and as far as i can tell everything on it is stock. Not too sure on the seats though, as this is my first Zcar i cant tell if the seats that are in it are the originals or not, if they are they are in wonderful condition, as is most the car, with the ocasional rust spot, one small hole on the passenger side floorboard. Had all the Org. HubCaps but missing 5 emblems.. I traded my 85' Chevy suburban even steven for it, think i got the better end of the deal the Burban was on its last leg.. anyway, here are some pics.
