vented or non vented toyota caliper ?
Rainer, It is very simple. If you want to keep your standard disks you will need the S12, these you bold direct onto. If you like the vented disks (first 300zx) you will need the S12 W…. ‘w of wide’, with these you will need a spacer. If you like the last set I can inform about a price.

How loud are twice pipes?
You are absolutely right! Without my ‘steel noise reduction aid kit’ it was not normal to drive. At the end of the day you had a very nice headache. We had to drive a night rally, can you imaging…… and my co pilot said to me “we have to do something with the noiseâ€. And so I came to the idea with steel sponges, which reduces a lot of sound. A cheap way to match the problem and it gives enough counter pressure in high gears. Something I missed with open pipes.

Northern Cali meet: yes another one!!

How loud are twice pipes?
I’ve got a 6 in 2 header and dual straight pipes (like a works car) with a sort of glass packs at the rar end. The pipes are each, 2 inches (50mm) and for street noise reduction I use one steel sponge a pipe. The kind of sponge which you use to clean the cooking pan. Once I did measured it and I came without reduction at 120db! :devious: After 4000rpm it is like a trombone! And that is loud very loud….i don’t think the glass pack do any good in fact they are to low and therefore I’m thinking to get rid of them.

rear hatch hinge seals
I also tried to find them but nobody makes or has them. I tried Courtesy and Victoria too. But that was over a year ago. I ended with a in good shape second hand ‘kit’.

Stock or Racing Seats
They look very nice I must admit. On the other hand this seat looks more to a sofa then a seat. But it could be the colour. Working this way gives you a lot of extra work. You have to buy second hand SAAS seats, (I don’t know what they cost) take theme to the upholstery guy. He is costing a lot of money, for sure!!!. What is your opinion of the Porsche Carrera 2 seat I mentioned, at the end the cost would be the same and they look more slimmer?
-
Stock or Racing Seats
I agree with Alan. Stay away from the ‘new look’ old seats. I also am looking for nice ‘in period’ seats. The bucket seats I like very much. Someone posted Porsche seats also great looking and similar to the Datsun!! here is a link to the Corbeau GT-8
