Judging from my experience with a two year old bambi, if you run into a Moose with a S30 Z car, the driver would be wearing the Moose, the T Shirt, and the Hat. Moose = High Center of Gravity, Large Body Mass Z = Lower CG, and Front Bumper at Knee Height not a good match up :cross-eye

Hey maybe we should make up a "Z RoadKiller" T shirt. Or hats, and we could put on a pin of the animal that got wasted by our car. Hats are available at : .Road-Kill-Cafe dot com about 1/3 of the way down the page.

  7. Nice that his T shirt matches his beer bottle!
  8. Great Webpage link! Maybe you could post this one in our LINKS area so it is easy for everyone to find later on down the road?
  9. Thats what I meant about "cutting" down on the drying time.

Follow directions directly below the picture window. Aquatic Mammal
  11. RATS! None of these links work anymore. Does anyone have the "Sleepy" movie clip that they would be willing to email me? IF so, shoot me a PM, and I'll provide a email address. Thank you.
  12. Bill: Nothing wrong with using the sink. Heck, I'd use the disposal too. Cuts down on the drying time.:tapemouth

  14. That is a mighty inconvenient way to have to work on any project.
  15. Man, I wish you lived in my area. I'd be begging you to rent me space to work on & store one car.
  16. Since I cannot weld, I didn't find a need to have 220 at the time. (beyond the provision for an electric clothes dryer)
  17. In the last garage that I owned, I installed a double outlet box every 3 feet along the side walls and I installed two double outlet boxes in the ceiling near the front of the garage, one in the center of the garage (used for the door opener), and two near the rear of the garage. Total individual recepticles (excluding the one for the door opener) was 24, on 3 circuits. This was adequate for my usage, but more would have been better. Now days, I'd settle for a garage with any number of recepticles (greater than zero).

I hear you Stephen. I always wondered about that too. These screws seem to be good for nothing more than a false sense of security. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweetgrrl is also correct in that if someone is small enough, and limber enough, they could replace the electrical portion of the ignition lock assembly without removing the entire assembly from the steering collumn.

Use a small drill bit to drill a hole in the screw heads. Insert and EZ Out (Screw/Bolt Extractor) and remove the screws. Replace them with standard metric screws or some other metric screws of your choice that require a "special" bit (like Torks, or Hex capscrew, etc.) The reason for these OEM headless screws was to make it difficult for someone to "quickly" steal your car by swapping in a different ignition switch.
  20. I liked the first one better, but I'm glad that you posted this one.
  21. Not to worry, I'm riding as a passenger with Wayne (wkarnes) and Son. Hoping to maybe find a Z Head who knows SU's from the Bay Area that I can strike a deal with to check out mine so I can get the car on ther road again.
  22. We are planning on arriving at around 9AM to 9:30AM I'll be wearing a Train Engineers hat and a 240Z T Shirt. Hope to see some of you guys!
  23. Rio Vista meet is tomorrow. I know of just a few guys from our club attending. Ares240Z, 280Z, wkarnes and son, Alex, & myself. Anyone else? It should be a really nice day for a meet.
  24. 240Z's destined for the North American market never came with a factory rear bar. Some chassis delivered as 73 models in the US did have the mounts, but there was never a bar supplied in those mounts for US delivery. 240Z's in some other markets around the world DID receive a rear sway bar from the factory.
  25. Hello Lee: I quit buying sellers in foriegn countries after I bought a magazine from a fellow in OZ. It was a "free" magazine when published and I bought it for $3 USD. I enjoyed reading the magazine for the different writing style, adverts and other content. It was interesting to me to experience one of your countries magazines. The seller charged me $11 USD for shipping, plus the $3 winning bid.
