Hey that's pretty! What wheels are those?
  2. Will, the rhd market, driver's side mirror will still be a poor "Far side" mirror for your car. Since it is a flat mirror, it will be much like turning a LHD market mirror around, except in one way. The RHD mirror should (disclaimer here, "SHOULD") match the angle of the LHD "Driver's Side". The farther away you are from a flat mirror, the narrower the field of veiw. Our mirrors, from the far seat, don't do much good.
  3. Don't keep us out! I'd like to hear the winning points of the MR2.
  4. Whew! I saw it. Wow The RPM's jump when the boost comes on.
  5. Dam! my work server won't let me get to it! - ----------snip----------------- Access to this web page is restricted at this time. Reason: The Websense category "Tasteless" is filtered. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- URL: http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=280Z-Turbo-short ----------snip----------------- I would have considered Ryan's turbo car as "Tasty", Not Tasteless!
  6. Go for it. 73's are "Early" cars as far as I'm concerned. Keep an eye out for round tops and airbox and your set
  7. I love the MR2, I used to run against them in Autocross CSP with my Datsun Roadster. Dam Good car. The Z is a step up, They ran against corvettes.. Does that tell you something???

  9. I only wish I loved they way they look! They sell in L.A. for 750 to 2500 all the time. I could by one at whim, but I don't "REALLY" care for them. I could "stand" to have a 280ZX, But if somthing happened to my 72, I'd want a 70~73 S30 o replace it.
  10. I'm running both. The Azenis are on the roadster, 14X6 - 195/60/14. This car is my canyon carver and these tires are as good or better than any other Iv'e used at twice the price - Treadwear 200 I have 2 sets of 512's. One set on my old wheel set 14X5.5 - 195/60/14 and my new SSR's 15X7 - 225/60/15. These ar great all purpose tire. Although, "All Purpose" has a different meaning to me than others. It has great grip and acceptable treadwear for my daily drive needs and doesn't suck on the canyons either treadwear 360?
  11. The Answer is... Just do it. Don't ask them for permission. Their culture is, "If I don't understand it, it must be illegal".

  13. I went to the DMV desk of the Auto Club (Insurance agency) and asked for a new "Month" sticker. No worries.
  14. I had my Cali Blue/Yellow done by Mojo Art Works http://www.mojoartworks.com/ It was a nice job - rust gone, dents gone, creases gone - but - the paint they used was a little soft. Basically, the yellow on the numbers blasted off on the front plate within a year. I ended up redoing the numbers myself with "One-Shot" brand "Chrome Yellow".

As Aaron said, If the chome is pitted, you'll only polish off the chrome you have left! Although you can get bare steel to shine, it doesn't last very long Exhaust gases builds a very tough patina. I cut this off from my new chrome with "Mothers" brand "Paint Cleaner". It works better than any polish I've used to date.
  16. I have the US market LH mirror on my RH side. I first saw it done on Tom Clark's beautifull lime green 72. I looks right. It is at a dirrerent angle than it would be on the Left, but you only notice this when you look at the car dead on front. Functionally It's not a good mirror for the far side of the car. Since it's a flat mirror, It's angle is too narrow to see anything. I fixed this by fitting the largest concave "Stick-on" mirror that would fit. Now, I use it all the time. Tom Clark's 72 My Car
  17. Is this the"Blue Lake" Event? If so take photos! Oh heck, take photos at any Nissan/Datsun event!
