This guy was running a "junkyard" turbo set-up. It looked rather crude, but he could spin the tires all the way down the track and through 3rd gear! -

Yes, that's a 10.8s run. Not his best, he ran a 10.6s @ 134 mph earlier. The Twin Turbo on the right never had a chance. From talking with people who rode in the car during the week, they said it wasn't like getting pushed back into the seat. More like someone kicking you in the chest! -

'77 280 Twin Turbo - Guys last name is Dupree (I forget his first name). I tried to take this picture right after the light turned green....you can see how hard it was to do that! -

260 from Florida with a 280ZX Turbo motor. -

That's a turbo charged 260 on the left. He ran pretty good.
