All Z's drag! Clarkson video
Just downloaded this large Hot Metal episode where Clarkson compares new cars with old.. great one hour video and even featured a bit with Z's in. So I thought some of you might like it: http://www.if-hosting.com/users/alfadog/Z_test_small.rm (under 1MB, very poor quality) http://www.if-hosting.com/users/alfadog/Z_test_medium.rm (5.66 MB)

Nissan Datsun Nationals Easter 2005
Hmmm.. I'm at uni! ha! Although it would be awesome to see your C10 Jim, not to mention all the Z's... 2 full days of driving would you think?

Police Version
Better than pretty cool. I think it would be absolutely brilliant! Is it just me or is the paintwork at the front of the two cars on thefirst picture Chris posted slightly different? Note also the different mirrors, siren and headlight covers. Is the one on the right a 2+2? It looks like it has the Japanese 2/2 badge on the front grille. Plus, look at all the awesome cars in the background!!

Toyota 2000GT interest
there ya go You know what the first thing I noticed was? Handbrake on the left! Jim, do you know if it was based on any American platform? Would have made for some good comparisons though wouldn't it... there's nothing like a little bit of competition to spice things up. I would have loved to see it come into production

Ahhh! It all starts to make sense I know how confusing it can get with all the G's and X's... good to get it all cleared up though. So he imported it from PNG? That's interesting! I had not known any other country aside Japan got the C110 badged as "Nissan Skyline". He posted a picture before - definitely has the P! Just some other issues that really raise an eyebrow. Don't want to steal the thread though!

Me too Stephen! I just thought I should clarify what I meant while everyone else was doing so

Useless information. Of interest to some.
Very interesting Rick. I think Australia has the cheapest 240Z's in the world! Not that I am complaining - just keep the prices low for a few more years until I get another one OK!!

Just to clarify myyyy intentions, that was not a snide statement! It was a joke, for Rick. I said: The cheeky smilie is needed! We all know how Rick loves to tease you septics, I thought he would appreciate it. It does have an element of truth though - that the page is a BIT biassed.. but I wasn't meant to be "America-bashing". Ok, I'm done!

oh.. prince again! Are you sure he said GTX, and not GT? There were a limited number of very early 240K GT's imported in 1973. I thought his car was a Japanese 2000 GTX - I really have trouble believing Nissan imported 20-30 C110's in 1975 or so (his car is a later model GT-X). His VIN is another story all together...! I would love to meet him - perhaps over the holidays, since he is in Brisbane anyway. Sorry for taking over the thread Mike!
