the big picture- still needs paint
I spent hours rubbing the paint by hand. I must have done the car at least 7 times. I did it 3 more times after these photos. All I can say is, I can't wait for new paint.

First shot of the car on the road assembled back in early September. Nice shot but you can dee that the suspension is a lttle exhausted. I have since replaced it.

window regulator in a 70 Z
I did this on my last car and while it was fairly easy, it became a little frustrating.:tapemouth There are a couple of poiters I can share. 1- remove the window crank clip, crank, and doorpanel. 2- remove the belt molding -the outer molding that keeps water out of the door body. 3. place the crank back on the regulator. Tip- lobe the heck out of the mechanism if it is stuck, and try to get it un-stuck. This will make your life hell. 4-loosen the bolts that secure regulator in place. 5- dismantle the outer window frame and rubber trim very carefully. 6- when the regulator is unstuck, you can remove the window AND the regulator arms through the far opening closest to the B pillar- i.e. quarter glass. 7- reassemble.
