Call and ask for Evan...a fellow Z-Nut...his number at Sound and Speed is 309-836-6299. Unlike any shop you've seen or been to. They have a competition sound shop with the best sound guy in the area(Jake). The have a full time mechanic, a full time paint and body dude(Stan) who has painted cars all his life and is the best I've seen in a long time...and Evan is a Hybrid Z fanatic and the owner of the shop. His personal Z is a work in progress and its my job to make sure they stay active with Z's. THIS IS THE SPOT FOR YOUR Z AND OTHER TYPES OF CARS AS WELL!!! Call them and they will make time for your car....

if you want to restore a Z buy it in AZ or CA... the interior's and the rubber pieces will need to be replaced but the metal is usually straight and clean. Or spend a little more and find and buy one owner Z cars like I do. My 76 came from Ohio with 50k on it and I spent $6000 for it initially and have owned it over 10 years now. The car has had some rust issues but not the ones that some have had due to being aware of the problem areas and being able to do prevenative maintenence to stop big problems in the future. My restoration costs were minimal due to my car was taken care of by the original owner and me. Check my car out in my gallery. I also suggest using Sound and Speed in Macomb, IL to assist with painting of your Z. They weren't happy with their last body guy so they hired a master hotrod painter to do their work and he's re-doing my car due to the other guy's work wasn't to the quality of the true House of Colors paint....which has a lifetime warranty.

saw one on ebay recently and I belive a blue one with white interior was on ZCAR.com check mine out to see what can be done to the 2+2's...I've had mine for over 10 years.

I'm asking $1000 for the complete set-up, (what you see is what you get) that is on my current car. I know the set is complete due to the car is still running these carbs on it. I will include the fuel pressure regulator that you can see on the inner fender opposite the carbs in the picture. I have quite a few extra parts invested to make my carbs an easy decision for the right buyer. I have a new manual for the carbs as well($30). The filters cost me $275 and they are brand new... all of which is included. You know what they say....you get what you pay for... and in my case you see what you're paying for.

They are 44mm with the mikuni manifold about 5 inches in the intake tube size. They come as pictured with all the linkage and filters...the choke is not present because my car didn't need it. they have extra parts and a mikuni carb manual as well that come with the carbs. I will also throw in the syncro tester that I purchased for the carbs from Motorsports.

well I did it...bought me a Skyline set-up...selling off the mikuni's to help fund the new motor. If you know anyone looking the pic of them is on my gallery...sell the ZG yet? if not the guys at Sound and Speed may be interested in the purchase of your Z. I've sold them my 88 Turbo Z and my 83 Turbo Z...this week.

you're trying to sell your car with no price...how much are you looking to get out of this ZXT?

I'm in need of a few things for a 83 ZXT 2+2 that I have. I need a good hood with no rust and prefer it black in color if possible. I also need any and all front end suspension pieces. I will list soon what is needed. My guess is upper and lower ball joints, rotors and pads, wheel bearings....etc... would like to find somewhere locally or within IL,IN,OH,WI,IA.
