California Crackdown on Modified Cars
I've got Harleys in my neighborhood that are louder than even the Honda's with fart cans in all of California...I'm sure they're not stopping them for excessive noise...

How much $$ have you spent on your Z ?
I'm well into the several thousands from engine at about 4-5,000 with machine shop work, injectors, painless wiring, skyline 5spd trans, paint and detail. The body is in the process of the second time House of Colors paint scheme so I had the engine bay and all the door openings done this time this all at a tune of around 6-7,000. Wheels, tires, suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes sent me into the poor house but have been done as well at the tune of 2-3,000...luckily my interior only had to recieve the 4,000 stereo and the rest was in mint condition...so I'm wrong on the total its hovering around 20 grand.

1974 260Z 2+2 (certified w/ pics and vedeos available)
personally I wish that the original owner of my car left the roof alone...all sunroofs leak and if you plan never to wreck your car and total it...you can be sure the sunroof company went out of business and there are no gasket materials available for your sunroof. If anyone else reads this...the sunroof is called a twin top sunroof and I'd like to find either a new old stock of one or a near new one to help my leaking roof. I have a good temporary fix for right now but I'm sure I will still have problems. What is the US conversion currently from US to Canadaian $$$?

Looking for a Z in IL
My name is Dave and I'm part of the Windy City Z Club...We at the club with the 1st generation cars like to stick together and swap, trade and sell parts to each other. I have a few Z's...my pride and joy being a 76 280Z 2+2 in Baby Blue Pearl with a skyline tubo set-up as my favorite, a 77 280Z 2+2 that i've owned for 10 years originally from FL, my 83ZXT 2+2 turbo is forsale and its a California Z, and a newly aqquired 88 300zx coupe 5spd with a new motor will also be forsale. When and if you join the WCZC...which you really should join...we'll enjoy seeing much more of your 78 Z.

83 ZXT 2+2 forsale $2500 firm
I have uploaded more pics of this 2+2 on my gallery...The car is a real deal that must be sold to help the further retoration of my 76 Skyline Z+2 that is in the process of restoration and has to be done before the convention in June. This car is really nice and will take very little to be a really nice driver or 1st Z. It is an automatic...but I do have the pedal box to convert it to a 5 speed. The turbo spools really nice and the car now drives real straight down the road. When I got the car the front end was all dried out and loose....not anymore, its all new. The struts are newer tokiko non-adjustables, 15" Konig wheels, needs tires, Has a cold air intake, the original antenna is broken...have a spare to replace it. needs a headliner, t-tops have bags and inserts as well as another set of t-tops as spares, interior is what you see in the pics. I'm asking $2950 obo for the car or you can try to win it on ebay in the Datsun section...my reserve is $2500.

83 ZXT 2+2 automatic from California...
This is a nice car with alot of potential. Its an automatic ZXT 2+2 originally from California...has been in IL for 2 years and never driven in snow. The car stands tall but needs some work. My intention was too keep this one so I've already started to get some parts for it. As you can see in the pics the rims have been changed to a more modern 15 inch 5 spoke Konig rim. I have a set of non-adjustable Tokiko struts for it and a set of manual pedals for a conversion to 5 spd. The body of this car is in real good shape and I wanted a car to do more of the cross country Z related activities. It has A/C, cruise control, pwr windows, turbo and t-tops. The underside of this car is spotless. The engine bay is also clean and tidy with its milage being around 125k its got lots of life left in it. There is some work necessary for road worthiness tho. The front sway bars bushings are shot and need replacement...it was a interesting drive home this way and don't want to chance it further. The body has only 3 areas of cancer starting...behind the drivers door near the bottom of the rear window is 2 bubbles and the bottom of the winsheild in the center of the cowl panel...thats it as I can see. The hood is dented in the front of the hood and would require replacement. It still closes as if there isn't a dent so its a clean hit. The interior is in good shape as far as the door panels and seats and everything works except the radio which I was going to change anyway like my system in the 76 Z. I need to sell this car asap to pay for my continueing conversion of the Skyline Z engine that will be appearing in my 76 this year at the International Z Car Convention in June in California....so please help. I'm wanting to get $2500 for this car with all the extra parts included that I've aquired....the set of Tokiko struts, the manual pedals, newer pwr antenna, extra set of t-tops for a set of spares only and the set of Konig rims that I paid $500 for less than 3 months ago. Pictures can be seen in the Gallery...83 ZXT in black with beige leather/suede combo interior. I will add pics this weekend of the engine bay and interior. See pics in gallery kozby1976. $2500 or Make me an offer!!
