the only thing i can verify is that i know for a fact that the T5 can handle that much hp, i cant say for sure that the nissan tranny can though.

buying one of theyre cams, they have been around a long time and that is what they do and do best. they have a great product. id buy
  4. for an overall great driving car and autoxer i would go with the 3.90. you cant beat it with the 77 5 speed, its a great combination. as like 2many said with the 4.11 you will have a few more on the tach with the 4.11 but the accelleration will be outstanding. if it were me id have to go with the 3.90 just for the fact of it being an all around great gear ratio with the transmission you picked

i know though for a fact that the T5 can handle up to about 450 hp i dont think you would have any problems with the nissan 5 speed at all

i dont see you having a problem. if your having trouble bleeding the brakes though it might be that your rubber brake hoses have collapsed. its a hard thing to tell but then again new lines arent that expensive and niether is the assurance.
  8. hehe they do great work its just very expensive:ermm:
  9. the Z31 motor will NOT just drop in and bolt up. sorry to say but it wouldnt happen. also for the little power gain it wouldnt be worth the money that parts for it cost to rebuild. ive found several nice L6's with many miles on them. ie nver seen a Z31 V6 that had high mileage that didnt need some sort of work, unless it was very very very well maintained.

that with the low compression will give you some of your acceleration problems as well. if you ar going back to turbo then i wouldnt worry about it. if you plan to stay the n/a route then the first thing i would do is buy me some nice flat top pistons to up that compression
  11. i think you will be happy:classic:

they say that they have them. they also say that for the 70-71's had a metal fan blade and they list it for 64.10 the 72-73 they say had the plastic fan which they list for 75.34 just in case you were wondering or still looking for a place to locate one

i havent looked but i could take measurements for you. i have Z32 seats in my ZX. the po had them in the car when i bought it said how much of a pain they were to in stall. i really cant see how they would be though, and they fit really nicely in the ZX ill try to get some measurements for you tommorow.

soaking the area can think of the name for it where the whiper itself mounts. i had a hell of a time with my wipers on my 71. soaked that area of the wiper assembly in penetrating oil over night and the rest is history. also you might want to try cleaning your grounds and connections at the battery alt contacts. it cant hurt one bit. remember these cars are getting old

but im impressed with any car that can keep up with an R1 to me that says well engineered and built vehicle and its tastefully done. ive had a few V8 Z's and i dont really care for them that much, but my last 350Z i had layed down a 12.95 @105 as recorded and proven by the po now i have a ZXT, wish i had the engine in my 240 i had, that would have been great:love:
  24. but far from 12.5 nice the engine bay looks great and i like how clean and neat everything is, but the huge amount of attention that was showed there seems to me to have fallen short elsewhere. like others said dash cap:ermm: the imo not so tastefully done carpet on the rear towers. then the biggest thing of all to me the SUNROOF:sick:
