  1. Just saw this. Maybe I’m late to the game here but this is the first I’ve seen in High Zinc additive. https://www.amazon.com/Castrol-Classic-20W-50-Conventional-Motor/dp/B09QXWLY2Y/ref=pd_rhf_d_cr_s_bmx_gp_la4mehqn_sccl_1_3/139-8531450-3914603?pd_rd_w=kiQ7z&content-id=amzn1.sym.9a6f1177-7e55-462d-bd77-cfaee186750a&pf_rd_p=9a6f1177-7e55-462d-bd77-cfaee186750a&pf_rd_r=XNJ1S7EH8MEJY42D1DAN&pd_rd_wg=0ExCb&pd_rd_r=7f457931-43eb-49a8-9f77-ee3270dc1cf9&pd_rd_i=B09QXWLY2Y&psc=1

Not sure you knew, CarPartsManual.com is the saving grace for finding anything related with a p/n attached
  3. Doesn’t look like the 78 model setup.
  4. That’s correct the plastic piece has done its job. Not a show stopper by any means. Someone on the forum will hook you up.

Go to CarPartsManual.com and take a look at the break out of the parts. No rocket science here.
  6. Should not have a problem finding one here on this site.
  7. That looks like the spring and bracket off of a Datsun EFI throttle body.
  8. @Racer XCan probably give you the best advice on what you need to do going forward. My 3.1 build is designed by the engine builder. Time comes to where you have to rely on experience and who you trust.
  9. OER makes a 47 series for higher horsepower engines.
  10. I’m going to run the 47’s. He’s building a stage 4 series motor for me with my LD28 crank.
  11. Take a look at OER carburetors out of Japan. My understanding from Datsun Spirit is they are a hybrid mix design of Mikuni & Webber carburetors. Eiji swears by them. They come in a complete kit as well. Just another avenue to investigate.

A lot of people on this forum have used power brake exchange in San Jose Ca. Including myself. They have two locations. If you want it powder coated they will suggest which location to send it to. Around $250
  14. To clarify, My setup is a R200 LSD with BC Coil over shocks. Everybody’s setup will vary at some point.
  15. I was not saying it was a Silvermine problem. Surely there are a lot of folks that had success. As I mentioned earlier in the post I had an issue with binding. Could have been the axles who knows. What they produce, fit and function were fine.
  16. Don’t want to place a valuable supplier on notice when it could have been something I missed. I did try everything to keep them from binding.
  17. I have a kit I had professionally welded together from Silvermine with the same cv axles. Pm me if you would like my input on these. Been down that road.
  18. If you’re changing the struts also,Do your self a favor. Drop the assembly on a trans scissor jack from HF and go from there. I did it the hard way piece by piece.
  19. Since you’re doing a complete rebuild/upgrade it might be easier to drop the entire rear assembly and disassemble on the ground.

Did you test the movement of the seat rail on the seat before you tried to install it in the car. There are numerous reasons why it can’t slide for and aft.
  21. Datsun Spirit

You didn’t give a measurement with the engine running that would give a voltage output.

Are you familiar with using a volt/ohm meter. I may have missed it but In don’t see any measurements being made.
  24. Here is a pic off my 78 fuel dampener
