We flattened the curve... well someone did Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I have the same sender from zcardepot and my fuel light doesn’t light up but it never has... The fuel gauge does seem very accurate. Sorry I have added nothing helpful to this topic but I am following with interest. I replaced my bulbs with LEDs and still doesn’t work. I only got it because the last sender didn’t move my gauge needle properly and this fixed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The top two style are on my 78 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. To me it sounds like it’s running rich if it was lean it would be backfiring out the intake from my understanding. Did you mess with the distributor timing at all? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Any pictures of the install? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thank you 1/2” was tight but it did work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Anyone know what size hose this is from the throttle body to the AAR on the 78 I thought originally it was 5/8” but that seems way too large. Also anyone have a good hose recommendation it’s pulling vacuum can I just use heater hose though? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any possible way to clear a clogged screen without cutting a hole in the tank? I was thinking maybe a metal rod might be able to poke holes in the screen but lots of angles from what I can tell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think your drivers side front tires tread pattern is facing the wrong direction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I got a little usb doodad that sticks into the lighter with 2 USB ports and shows voltage when my keys out out and car is not running it still is working as shown below. It even charges my phone with the car not running. Is that expected? Should I just unplug this when I turn the car off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fuel sender is in I used a very long skinny screw driver to tap out the lock ring and to tap it back in. My gauge now reads like how it should my older one would never go past half full (or is it half empty jk) It also moved the needle over a lot faster. Now just need to see if my fuel light actually works. Thumbs up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I thought this was going to be stupidly simple and it probably is but where does this go. I am looking at the relays in the passenger footwell but I don’t understand how it attaches can someone take a picture of one that’s put together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I want to change my positive cable out and move to maybe an in-line fuse instead of the fusible links to the fuel injectors .. anyone know what fuse size would be good? I am referring to these specifically Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Interesting you ran your cable off the battery to the fuse block. I ran mine off the starter positive post. I guess no difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I cleaned up all my grounds and positive cables in the engine bay now I am getting 14.0~.1 at idle I am ok with that now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok results battery at 12.75 resting then 13.85 at idle still wish it was higher but more importantly the almost stall test succeeded, that was with all lights radio etc on. Also my radio has a blue light around it that glows that used to pulse with the music I thought that was a feature of the radio turns out of you have a good alternator it doesn’t pulse and the voltage gauge stays steady. Alternator replaced going to test it all tomorrow including voltage readings but it started right up and sounded like a better idle but could just be my imagination. Too hot in the garage today in Phoenix Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My alternator is the rock auto ac delco reman. Probably just going to head to NAPA today they have their Napa power premium plus remain with limited lifetime warranty no harm in trying that out. If I get the same symptoms might be the relay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can make the brake and charge light go on by almost stalling it when letting out the clutch and when I give it gas with the clutch in I can make them go back off when the rpm gets above 1200 or so. Sometimes one light or the other will stay on until I repeat that process again but every time the rpms drop I hear the relay click and the lights come on. I did not try turning off the car and back on to see if that cleared the lights but I can try that tomorrow. Might take it down to get battery and alternator tested tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok problem not solved but I found out what triggers this symptom but no idea why it happens hear me out... if I have my car in gear and I am releasing the clutch without giving it gas so it kinda starts to stumble like it’s going to stall.. I hear the relay click and then the chg light and warning light came on.. gave it gas and push in the clutch and all the lights went off except the brake warning light.. try that process again and hear the relay and all lights turned off... and I did this process like 3 times in a row turning the lights off and on using the almost stall give it gas method... what in the world is that about. I can make this happen on demand when I want now by almost stalling the car.. and when I think about it when I was at the intersection I was in first with clutch in when I was letting the clutch out when the light turned green.. I am guessing it has something to do with the RPMs dropping when almost stalling so the alternator is not doing it’s thing... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Everything is all good now. I am not going to touch anything and not go to that intersection again is the best course of action right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
