Anyone know were to get one or another solution.
Have you checked with Victoria British?

Pads recommendations for Toyota 4x4 calipers?
You should be fine with stock semi-metallic pads. Don't get the lifetime pads because they have larger quantities of metal in the pads and will wear out your rotors.

can't put pulley back
Hopefully you didn't ruin your new pulley by hammering on it. It should have slid on the crankshaft without much effort. It could have been crooked and when you started to hammer on it you could have gouged either the shaft, key or the pulley. Take it back off and inspect for dammage. Next remove the key and clean everything with some emerycloth (200 grit). Trial fit the pulley. Like I said earlier it should go on without much effort. Make sure it's not binding on the key. If it goes on then take it back off and coat the shaft with some anti-sieze. Assemble and torque your the bolt to spec. If the pulley still won't go on then you will have to take it all to a machine shop where they can measure the crankshaft and bore out the pulley.

Higher compression, better? Why?
We've all heard that the higher the compression in an engine the more HP you will have. I was wondering how this works. And also what is too high for a street car?

Attaching hood emblem
The clips are easy to come by, you should also be able to pick them up at a hardware store also. I've seen them at Sears hardware, and Ace. Good luck

Attaching hood emblem
Are you saying the nipple broke off the back of the badge? Or you lost the clip that attaches to the nipple? When mine broke the nipple I ended up using double sided tape. Get the rubberized kind that you would use on mouldings and stuff.

Bill, I have a center console on my 72 that I could sell you, it's not perfect but it is in pretty decent shape. Interested?

This Z was stored in a chicken coop since 1987
I went to the e-bay link and noticed that the interior parts were withdrawn from auction.

Front cover finish
Looks like it might have been blasted with glass bead. I did mine with it and it looks the same. Finish it off with some 600 grit and a good polish... :classic:

Fender allignment
Thanks Keith, It looks like there is lead filler there. I'm taking my car to the paint shop next week and I'm getting all my ducks in a row. I'm going to have them smooth it out and leave about 1/8" gap.

I'm probably going to be beat up for this...
That would be so cool, imagine that chrome exhaust stack sticking straight up from the engine.

Fender allignment
Does the back end of the fender, where it meets the windshield frame have an even gap? On mine the outside corner touches the windshield frame.

Bugger - R180 LSD I bought is actually a R160 - is it still useful
Interesting question Glenn, I too was wondering if the internals to lets say a 3.54 R-180 would fit inside a 4.11 R-180 case or vice-versa? This way you could save on shipping costs by just having the gears sent to you instead of the entire diff assembly.

Last I heard MSA had them. Edit: sorry I can't get the link to work.

Well, I think we can stop trying to convince him to save it. He done killed it :dead: :stupid: :tapemouth .

"Alternative" Jack Points
Make sure you get solid concrete blocks! DO NOT get cinder blocks (the ones that are hollow) that will crush with the weight of the car.

As was mentioned before. Your car do with it as you please. A V-8 swap would definately push your eyes back into your head. But as also mentioned; a numbers matching unmolested original in good condition will fetch a pretty penny. If the interior is in as good a shape as the exterior you wouldn't have any problem making a huge profit. I've seen low mileage originals go for $15,000+. You could take that money and get a 240 that has a v-8 already in it. Save you from a lot of work. $.02

hold on there, Nellie....

no cold air blowing out
I would guess that your ducting is blocked somewhere. Start by removeing the blower motor. You should be able to scope out the area and see where the problem is.

Stumped - Getting an R200 out from under a 280zx
It's been a while since I pulled one but I remember it came out pretty easy. I think I removed the driveshaft's and all the supporting bolts, then slid the diff forward enough to get the rear mount out of the way. Then it moved back no problem. Sorry I can't be of more help, maybe you could buy me a plane ticket down there and I would be happy to take it out for you :classic: (kidding). Good luck.

Who is going to the ZANY show in Syracuse?
Hey, I had a great time. Some good looking Z's. I think I saw you, but since I've never met you it's a little hard to tell. I'll be there next year and I'll be taking MY Z. Even if I have to trailer her. Maybe even to the ZCCA convention (If I knew when it was). That BSR was pretty sweet. I wouldn't mind taking her out for a spin :classic: .
