  1. Survival of the fittest squeaky wheel. Affirmative political correctness: It is much easier to be the best than it is to be selected for being the best. I was at a party on Friday where I met a west African who was celebrating her Canadian residency approval with her girlfriend. She told me about her funded research into the feelings of gay men who are offended by a blood donor questionnaire that highlights the risk of HIV. No we were not smoking anything... it is truly a strange world nowadays.
  2. It is a very strange world. Darwin would be puzzled for sure.

  7. Ouch... fun fact: wrestlers will cut their foreheads to show blood. A small cut goes a long way.... great demo! Now if you followed Nissan factory safety....
  8. The made in China compression testers look like testers but not all of them are. If the hose was not low expansion rubber then it effectively acts like a balloon/air cushion and the compression will read lower. The calibration of the dial gauge could also be off. If you have an air compressor with a good gauge or some pressure gauges then you can cobble a compressor to your compression tester and see if the gauges align as you pump up the pressure.

Kats, My best friend from high school got his helicopter pilots license at this airport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langley_Regional_Airport I visited him a few times when he was a student and there were also many student pilots from Japan training. He could speak Japanese and tutored many. Good times back ~ 1991.
