Due to leaky injectors, there was some smoke and charring. Brief inspection does not reveal any apparent damage to any other parts.

Rear "dogleg" seam 1
Rear "dogleg" seam buckled by gutter or incorrect jacking. Starting to rust, but looks like nothing a wirebrush on a grinder wont clean up. Doesnt appear to have penerated.

Bambi would've liked this one.

Diff Mount/Moustache Bar Bushes
allzparts in NSW should have genuine rubber ones which is what I would use on the diff anyway. Pay upfront, have them posted to your door...no stuffing around. Easy.

After Market Seats - Recaro's
No worries, let us know how you get on.

After Market Seats - Recaro's
Legally you will need an engineers certificate in Victoria. You would be unlucky to be picked up on it, however if you are doing things properly you will have to consult an engineer to find out what he will pass before you waste any time of effort doing something that is ineligible. I have seen rails here in Japan that suit SR recaros to S30 chassis. They are too heave to be worthwhile shipping though. Perhaps contact ideal in moorabbin, I think they are the recaro distributor.

RB30DET bonnet issues
Unless you have exceptionally low engine mounts I cant see any way around it, however a user here RB30-ZED i think, has done it using the OEM crossover plenum. My solution on mine was to use an aftermarket front facing plenum.
