Suddenly I have a clutch problem on my 78' 280Z. Without starting my car first thing in the morning I can shift the car in all gears. When I start the car I depress the clutch pedal to shift and I can not shift in any gear. At this time the clutch pedal has little resistance. If I pump the clutch pedal several times I am able to shift in all gears. At this time I notice that the clutch pedal has more resistance. Clutch fluid level is full. Do I have a valve problem somewhere. If it is a valve problem would it be better to buy a new or rebuilt one or put a kit in it. Thanks!

Does anyone have a good fix for squeaky front brakes when depressed. New pads and discs were installed. 78' 280z

78z drivers side door key lock sticking. I can not lock or unlock my drivers side door with the key. When i turn the key it will only turn half way when i try opening or locking. The door will open and lock with the door sill knob but not with the key. is there a fix for this or if it needs new parts are they available? THANKS!

My dome light is missing the lens push on mechanism that turns the light on when pushed. Is there any fixes for this or part replacement. Also, will the light still work without this mechanism from the door switches? The dome light assembly is all there, including the lens. The part that is missing is the part that gives the lens the spring action, in which I presume is a switch that grounds out on contacts on the dome light body assembly when the lens is pushed in. I can't find anywhere, a break down of the interior of the dome light assembly to see what that mechanism looks like. Thanks!

I recently purchased this 78' z and was aware of the thumping at the rear end when I purchased it. I replaced the rear struts, which were leaking. I also replaced the strut mounts. I have 16" tires all around. The Nissan dealer says it's because of the over sized tires. Is this true or do I have another problem? I probably should explain further. The thumping noise occurs on both sides when I hit bumps. I thought it was because of bad struts. When I replaced the struts the problem did not go away...... Thanks!

All my utility lights (engine bay trouble light, clove box light and interior light) don't work on my 78' z. I have a wiring diagram but it does not show the utility lights. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
