  1. If Nissan paid more attention to their history and started making these and other hard to find parts again, then they would make a fortune from the members here alone. There would be a lot of happy Zers too. Me included . Mark, you will get one eventually. Keep looking. Kats told me that he bought his from a lot of parts on ebay. It was hiding in the box and it wasn't in the description, but he could see it in the box. Keep a keen eye and you will find one. These have been popping up on ebay quite a bit. I really like the braided hoses, but the one with the arrow is cool too. Are those still made by Nissan? Ben P.S. Yes, I took a stab at Nissan Motor Co.
  2. I emailed the seller about when and where it was shipped to and fro, and what all is original or restored. Hopefully the seller emails me and we can get some answers. Have you seen my friend's Bluebird in my gallery? He has a really nice one too. I will talk to you guys later. Ben:)
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2489879900&category=6188 Oh man, when I saw this auction I absolutely fell in love. This Bluebird is rediculously perfect. Let me explain, it is 920 gold which is an awesome color( Is that the color or did the Bluebird/510 line have a different color?), it is 00033!!!, it has 30k on the OD!!!, and it is a Bluebird. If everything is true than this car is a gem because you don't see a car in this good of shape and on this side of the pond much if ever. I would love to learn more about this car. How it got here? Is it original paint? The winner/owner will be very lucky. I wonder how high the price will go? Any guesses? My guess is 14.5K, and it would be worth every penny if it is in as original condition as the pictures and seller make it out to be. Ben:)

I am with you Alfa on opting not to opt for a front spoiler. I think they look good with or without them. I will not put one one my car, as there are very few factory front spoilers out there. The car can still look mean and low without the airdam. IMHO.

keep it simple. I like em with no vents. I am a bit "old school" too. I think they look good painted gunmetal grey as well, but that is me. They look good body color as well. http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11436&sort=1&size=medium&cat=500&page=4 http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11556&sort=1&cat=500&page=3 http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11421&sort=1&cat=500&page=5 Ben

In some pictures they are black, but in other pictures they are silver. Hmm. were they black because a lot of the ZG was darker like the bumpers front lower valence, and over-fenders, etc? Maybe I will paint my wipers now. hehehe, maybe not. Were the headlight covers a later option because in the first list that you posted it did not have them as an option? This is kind of a dumb question, but I just remember the picture of the 920 gold PS30 at the 1969 Tokyo auto Salon and it had the headlight covers. Ben

That would be great Carl. I would love to take a look at your catalogue. I have always heard about these, but I have never seen one. Thanks a lot. Ben

This is very interesting. Were most (all) these options availible in the Datsun Competition parts catalogue in N.A. or is it totally different? Kats was telling me about the leather knob a while ago and he said it was very rare. What does the leather knob look like? Alan, did your ZG have the dual exhaust fitted when you bought it? Was this a common option to purchase? When I was at the Z convention in LA there was a US spec 73' 240z that had the dual exhaust setup. I was not sure if it was trust or Nissan. The owner of the car was from Japan, so I would assume that it was fitted later, but I could be very wrong. It is black with the chrome tips, so it is probably the TRUST setup.
