Ok, I've still got a bid on the car and a car trailer. However, I live in Texas. I'm up for anyone who wants to take my trailer and get it for me since I don't have the time for that long of a trip (I just went to NM to get one last month). I'm also open to people willing to do the 'tag-team' of Z'ers to inaugurate a 'tow-the-Z relay' from there to here. I think that would be really cool personally!!! Anyone???

Zdreamer, I do still have the tool storage doors available for sale, they are $15 + S&H for the pair. As for the door sill scuff plates...I'm sure that I'm thinking of the same part that you are talking about, please take a look at the pix on my website (link in original post) and look for the one that says door sill scuff plates and let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Ok, I've quietly been watching this thread. I too have emailed the seller and got the message bounced however I did get a reply from him so I replied back with more questions and got that message was bounced also. I think that he has an ISP problem. Oh yes, that lone bid on the car is mine if anyone is trying to figure out who it is. I must agree with everyone here though, it's probably not even worth the opening bid of $500.

Nope. I was looking into this about a year ago and found anything from $500 on up to ship one from CA to TX.

I too hope everything is ok with her, I would hate to loose another Z fan...and in her case a great source of parts for the Z community. In the mean time I couldn't wait to hear back from you on the email I sent and found what I needed from Danny's Datsuns at a very good price. FWIW

Just wondering why www.240z.org no longer gets me to this site? It did until this upgrade.

Been trying to get in for 2 days with no luck. Has anyone else been able to get in during this time?

I have everything except for the following: 1 hose that runs from the carb balance tube to the engine block 1 240Z gas cap I will be checking with MWZ for these but if anyone out there has either part please contact me ASAP.

Where are you at and how much are you looking to spend? Keep an eye on eBay and Autotrader in the Classic section.

After looking back at these parts it appears as though they did both change from the 240Z as there are different part numbers for the different models. I need these parts for a '73 240Z.

No sweat, very frustrating though...but now I know who has them. Here I found them at AutoZone.

6 auto parts stores later...and I finally found one that has these lug nuts. Thanks for the tip Bambi. As it turned out I needed a complete set any how since I was changing the wheels that were on the car all together. I do still need the other parts though...please...anyone....anyone....

I've seen this one for sale before...seems to me that there was a story along with it but I can't remember for sure.

You might also let us know what your budget is and what your plans for the car are (i.e. daily driver, track car, project car, etc). I'll keep my eyes open for one but I had a hard time finding my 240Z here in town last year...now a 280Z will be easier to come by...but many here prefer the 240Z for many reasons.

Today it's quite a mix, my driver is in the garage (also my project car), my parts car is in storage (normally on my trailer but the trailer is in the driveway right now since I just returned from picking up another Z), this brings me to the new Z that I dropped off at a shop for some work this afternoon. I have them spread all over town!!
