    The RAW rear aluminum alloy drums with it's cooling fins, IMO give's the 240 it's unique period look ;)and as stated above are sufficient in performing .

  3. It takes a deep pockets to do this mods, I have seen super nice work done on Z's, I wish you the best luck in this adventure, the above suggestion is the best avenue, I am on the ''original-ish drive trains'' and ''original-ish body mods , era correct-ish'' mods group.

  6. I have the Franklin mint model, this little model was the seed in me getting my current 918 color 72,had no idea on the story on the die cast model, thanks for this info :bulb:

  8. ironhelix......The Cali Style mirrors suck big time :sick:, they are fine on an Italian car, my Z imported from California had them, they are hard to keep adjusted and vibrate a lot . Now she wears the vintage bullet type side mirrors that were very popular back in the day. FWIW

  11. To modern for the sexy lines of the 240Z,it takes away her vintage feline flair,IMO body mods at least should be era correct

    You are asking for opinions,the white stitching on that thick small diameter steering wheel screams,,,CAMARO/MUSTANG/MOPAR....not Z imo

    I used a 8$ flat black paint made for barbecue grills , it is heat resistant and applies with ease, no drips and looks great

    See post # 5...... do splash guards of any type belong on a sports car ,make a poll...... . I See plenty of personal opinions given on this forum , and plenty have nothing to do with the original issue , I made a suggestion on where to find the item and placed my opinion on the item. In your profile I see that your Z has this guards, if this offends you.....not my intent......life is full of flavors Also if you make a call to a quote , use the entire line and not a part of it to justify an offense.
