  5. Let me just say buy the best car you can. They are all right look hard for the rust. That is a road you don't want to go down. Take your time keep looking. don't do what i did and go cheep thinking you can fix it up you could end up with a money pit. and i would think about having it shipped. you will be money ahead in the long run.
  6. I took my old one to my local radiator shop cleaned it up and fixed the leak 20.00

Ok i checked all the post i could on this before i started. and did just as they said. first the grease seal was hard to get all the way in. when i put the hub on i tightened the nut down a little to help seat the grease seal then backed it off a little. took the hub back off looks good now put it back on but it is not smooth if i snug it down and if i back it off there is some play. it is not right. do i need to get it real tight to seat the bearing then back it off? i don't want to over tighten it.

Ok still working on our 76. What if the water temp. sensor and the thermal time switch are hooked up wrong? What I mean is if they are switched. I replaced the Temp sensor and I think the wire running to it has the red tape on it. And i think it should be the other way. with that wire going to the Thermal Time Switch. What it still will do is run ok until it gets real warm then stumble at 3000 RPM.
  15. What about the seat mounts? Do you just mark where they are and cut them out then weld them back in? My frame rails are not bad not sure how this will work.not sure i need to cut this all out.

Ok the Z ran better tonight then it ever had.cleaned the TPS and set it not sure it was off that much but the connection was bad. Fuel pressure with key on it runs up to 40 psi then on start up drops back to 31 to 32. After it sets for some time one hour or less It drops to nothing or 0. Not sure what it is while driving will have to take the hood off to check that.I have a lot more power but if I try to run it up around 3700 it starts to run bad again.I am getting there. Thanks to all of you.

Ok so i checked and replaced all of my vacuum lines and it idles a lot better. All of the injector connector's are missing the little wire clip's so this tell's me that someone has missed with them i did clean them as best as i could. When i first start it up it run's ok and i mean just ok but once it get's warmed up it, it has no power past 3000 RPM's it falls on it's face. I hate to do it but i think i will replace the injector's and connector's.I also think i might check the water temp sensor.I did clean it's connection. Thanks for all your help
