That's what I thought, could be a bad starter.

Can't they put an M on the bag? I guess that's sexual discrimination at it's worst. They probably throw mine away after testing. They should charge more for it though, it's expensive what I do to keep this machine running.

From 1987 to ???? donating blood was my "wellness check". I did it a couple times a year just to make sure I didn't have some kind of horrible disease.

My Dad maxed out at 13 gallons I think. Had those little gold blood drops in a frame. We put it in his casket. He did it to get off work early and still get paid and cookies, juice.
  5. Never an issue on my '72 with 2 SUs. I remove the air box completely. Took me a minute to figure out the hole on the side that allows air in. Mine was pegging out at first then I rotated it around to open up that hole and pull some outside air in. Then it was a lot easier to use.
  6. Looks like a 3/4" PEX crimp ring.
  7. Jon Mayer Trio- Try, is a good album after you hear it a few times. It's not all girly like his other stuff.
  8. Step 1: Buy one of these. https://www.amazon.com/Latest-Rage-5385730856-Carburetor-Airflow/dp/B00CMC57R0/ref=asc_df_B00CMC57R0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309898128610&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16754559533879517408&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9012727&hvtargid=pla-568420224882&psc=1

Could you mail mine? Red Cross should follow these type incentives for blood donations. We've gotten to a "what's in it for me" society now and donations are suffering from that. Everybody already gets a couple of beers after a donation to get that quick buzz, just have a cooler full at the EXIT door.
  10. Seems, looks like, some are missing? I had a bad alternator that back charged mine and popped all fuses. Sucked being me parts store replaced the alternator but that's all.
  11. I've seen those on a bunch or motor pics left on. Just like the rear hooks on 240s back bumper for shipping I removed mine. Stiil have them! But they're useless on our cars after the fact. Those levlers have some tricks to make them work smoother and bot so damn jumpy. If you can't find it in that thread let me know and I can share my experiences that makes it a little easier. @Jeff G 78hopefully will jump in too. Cliff

They figured out how to get Alabamians to vaccinate. No spectators again this fall if the data doesn't improve. Phones are ringing off the hook at my pharmacy and other locations to get in. Priorities people, Alabama's #1.
  13. Check the glass tubes fuses.
  14. Here's Jeff g helping me with mine. It jumps around but maybe read over some of the post and you may get that light bulb in your head. Good luck with it!
  15. Station wagon? https://www.autoevolution.com/news/nissan-fairlady-400z-hatchback-rendering-looks-like-a-more-practical-z-car-163013.html
  16. $2 at Harbor Freight or just about anywhere else. For working alone as I often do now days. You can position it so you see it from the drivers seat.
  17. I use one like this.
  18. I like white silicone spray. Seems to last longer than something like wd-40. That "worms" one way and I can't remember exactly which end to start with. Somebody will tell us. Seems like the gauge down to the transmission but not positive. You could lube the easy access end of the tranny and use a air compressor gun to push it through.

I use this and think most people do too. Manual transmission. https://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-50304-Transmission-Transaxle/dp/B000CPCBEQ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=redline+mt90&qid=1623436601&sr=8-1 Some instructions while you wait on delivery to read over. Or seize their private communications.
  21. You could bench clean them by running Seafoam through them or carb cleaner. I found fj707t were the cheapest new ones when I replaced mine. Fastwoman used some cheap green ones on ebay. FJ3s I think? The refurbished ones are cheaper too, they're all over the internet. I think you just need to make sure they have the top hose already attached, not those that have a coupled on hose from the Toyota supra they try and sale as Datsuns. Good luck with your sale once you get to that. Cliff
  22. This may help in some way. It's from the ZX dizzy swap but shows the ballast resistor you eventually remove. From Blues Tech Tips. https://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/distributor/index.html Next step is to see which of the two back w blue striped wires to the center ballast connector "R" is NOT +12V. Disconnect both and turn key over to "start" while checking voltage on each. The one without the voltage goes to a capacitor (aka condenser). Mark the other one with +12V with red tape.

I would. They're only about $10 for a Timken. Chain parts store have them or can overnight if not on the shelf. Seems like I bought mine from Advance or O'Reilly's. Could've been a National seal? One or the other.
