  1. Me too! That engine bay is going to ruin my Monday, I'm going to try and wax what I can to maybe get close to your's. When you replace the motor mounts you should go ahead and change out the transmission insulator, Nissan #11320-E4100. Ordered mine Friday from my local Nissan dealership, $65. Should be there Tuesday. Do you have a plan for your fuel pump? Here's a pretty sweet set-up, http://jarvas240z.blogspot.com/2013/01/electric-fuel-pump-installation.html
  2. You might throw a fire extinguisher in the red car. Right under the front of the driver's seat is a good spot.

I enjoy the internet with Google Chrome. Until my mortgage company insisted I upgrade to google to make online payments safer, I'd only used IE. I'd rather watch the Oprah Network and all the commercials on television than go back to IE. I didn't get a smartphone until my bank started mobile deposits last year. Another plus is now I don't have to touch those germ covered magazines in waiting rooms. But this forum is the only socializing I do as far as the internet goes, don't really socialize at all. You have to dumb yourself down to conversate with 95% of the people.

I've got that exact chain hoist! But I'm scared to use it on my '50s garage floor joist. Plus you need to roll the car forward, I'm limited vertically and depth wise. I have to use an engine hoist with the arm out as far as is safe. I'm thinking if I could bollt the drive shaft to the differential last I'd be okay? I'm being overly cautious I believe.

Thank you Mark. You ever been to Alabama? Want to visit in couple of weeks? I have a motorcycle jack that works as a transmission jack as well. So I'm thinking the driveshaft should be the last to bolt to the diff? Then tighten everything else up. Thanks for advice!!

I'll get those for you. I'm away from home at the present though, give me awhile and they'll be here. Maybe an hour or so?

I've got a leveler and what a difference they make! I'm remembering what a difficult time I had with the drive shaft the last time. I'm waiting until it's all bolted up before filling the gear box. Anymore tips would be appreciated.

I took my motor and tranny out starting with the engine mounts and going back to the differential bolts. Would it be easier to drop the pair down and reconnect starting with the drive shaft to differential bolts then moving forward? Motor mounts last. Thanks for any first hand or guesses.

That spade terminal is the S terminal where I connect my remote trigger. The top is the positive. If I recall correctly. Battery ground goes to the top bolt holding the starter onto the bellhousing.
  17. That's the first I've seen of your car Captain, really nice!

  19. There's some adjustability in the clutch on my '72, not sure on your's though. Slave cylinders adjustable. And the pedal. Mine was slipping bad thought it needed replacing but read on here how to adjust. Works fine. FWIW

I have a spreadsheet on the different distributors I found online. Ill post it up when I'm home or you could google search for it. I decided on the '79 after comparing the data on that. Amazon had one with a new insides module. Very pleased with it.

A paper punch? That's a good idea. Both holes the same size punched into squares of gasket paper that match the size of the spray bar, about 1"x1". Thanks guys, I have a plan!

Spray bar mounting. Light film of black RTV? Make gaskets out of gasket material? Bolt it on bare? I'll use loctite on the bolts. Thank you for any direction on this. Cliff
