COVID-19
These people are most likely getting a government check. Disability, unemployment or some other excuse for poor old pitiful me. Why are they not at work like we are? I just had a week off for Christmas and if I asked for another week my boss would say "take the rest of your life off". "I need you here, working."

Speaking from my past when you do not have stability in your early life you will have insecurity in your later life. Look at me! exactly. The lies you'll tell just to get that recognition. Most people change that way of thinking when the real world hits them. Some do not and I'm watching them on my television. So very sad but I'm not feeling sorry for these fools.

Talk about a Super Spreader event! You can easily spot the undercover law enforcement by their mask they're wearing. Nobody else has one on.

Tensioner sounds
I've always read 2 full turns when spinning by hand is okay, more than that and you need a new clutch. And for the knuckle draggers, some advice, use a piece of cardboard to go in and gradually try and stop it. If you can stop it you need a new one. My experience only. I'm no mechanic FWIW. If you can stop it pretty easy you need a new one, IF YOU CAN'T STOP IT ALL, you need a new one. Sorry but I forgot they do freeze up and sound like an airplane.

I'm a politician. Wait a minute! I am NOT a politician. That's more truthful.- What's the most needed Z part that's currently NLA?
Y'all are getting in the "no helment" debate for motorcycle riders. I don't want an iron in the fire but I wouldn't through my leg over a bike without a full face helmet on. Me, my personal choice. I still have shards of glass that work their way to the top of my eyebrow from a wreck in 2001 and that was a crash with Ray Bans on.- Original Areas Painted body
I'm sorry Mr Arnett, I was wrong. Imagine that! The 240s are black with no overspray, just a little rust. Mine is still 1972 except the motor and transmission. They have been reworked. 280s seem to be unpainted, zinc coating?- Exhaust smoke
The inside of the tailpipe would be all sooty if it's fuel related. Like spark plugs, check those too they will tell a lot.- Original Areas Painted body
Were the horns black then got body color over spray? That's what my early '72 looks like.- Floor Jack Question
That's my lift spot too when I'm HF jacking off. The squarish middle of the front crossmember. The low profile fits nicely under my front spoiler on my lowered car. Very light weight too. Grab it up and go, no problem. Handle pops out for going in the hatch or trunk of my Camry.- Recent from Sports Car Digest
That's like 280zforsale.com and 240zforsale.com. Opportunist jumping on anything to make some quick money. Those guys search craigslist and find cars then bug the $^!# out the original poster trying to get around craigslist internal email system that goes directly to the owner. All their listings are cross listings from other sites. They listed one of my 240s with a phone number in Michigan. Do a backwards image search on one of the cars and you'll see. Hold down S and right click.- Recent from Sports Car Digest
California Datsun publication?- Floor Jack Question
The best. Screw house jacks. They're high though but my old concrete slab garage floor shifts with the weather.- Floor Jack Question
My thinking is/was buy a low profile aluminum jack from HF. Spend on the best jack stands you can. They will save your life. The jack, not so much. It'll loose pressure and start dropping as quick as the last pump so you'll know quick.- Maxima overload
Good money spent before the end of the year. Your accountant will be happy.- Z's on BAT and other places collection
You can't have nothing!- Something horrible just happened - an ad autoplayed "music" on the CZCC site

You may have read this already, if so I'm sorry but it's a good read. There's some camo paint too, @Zed Head. It's my "olive" colored branch to you sir.- saturday night music thread
Recent events find this version redundant. Very redundant- saturday night music thread
That Jethro could sure play that flute! Ole Pink had a great voice too.- New project
Memories of older bikes is what we love. You ain't hijack nothing! What a great story to share. Thank you! I know my 2 stroke KX80 had a "powerband" in the exhaust that acted like a turbo at high rpms. From what I remember there was some vales in the exhaust pipe that opened up at high revs allowing like an open exhaust pipe. Giving them some more gitty up an go. Lots of flipped bikes and sore asses from those powerbands.- Tensioner sounds
An easier way would be use a piece of pvc with rubber caps on each end. I had a bunch of thinner so I used what I has handy.- Tensioner sounds
I used a piece of PVC tube with lacquer thinner. Worked good after soaking a couple off days. Then blew it out with my air compressor. If you ever have to paint a bunch of staircase balusters this the way to go, BTW. - Original Areas Painted body
